The presentation was a complex case due to the occurence of moderate fibrosis and fatty submucosa, which can occur in patients with chronic IBD.

After removal, the lesion measured 30 x 40 mm. It was removed en-bloc and the patient recovered well. They were able to be discharged the following day.
