Squamous Cell

Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) occupying the full circumference of the oesophagus (5cm)

Performing the case

Patient had cirrhosis and presented with Grade II oesphageal varices

Microwave coagulation

Microwave coagulation was very effective in treating oesphageal varices

Lesion removed

Despite complex presentation, the case went very well & the patient will soon resume normal life
