Dr Sergei Vosko, a highly experienced endoscopist with over 300 previous ESD cases under his belt, was the first to perform a Speedboat Submucosal Dissection in Israel using the Speedboat UltraSlim.
Case description
The patient, a 66 year old woman had a multiple myeloma, PLT 60, Hgb 9.9
Lesion description
During a screening colonoscopy, a 60 mm granular LST was found in the sigmoid colon (Kudo 4, Jnet 2a, Paris 2a-1s)
Conclusion
The lesion was successfully removed en-bloc with the Speedboat UltraSlim device without damaging the muscle layer. Minor bleeding was effectively controlled during the procedure.
