Dr. Mohan Ramchandani is a ​Consultant Gastroenterologist at AIG Hospitals, and with 18 years in the field of Gastroenterology has vast experience. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Banaras Hindu University and has trained in the field of therapeutic endoscopy in India and further afield – he has undertaken specialist advanced therapeutic endoscopy training at Northern Yokohama Hospital, Japan and Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai, China.

Dr. Ramchandani is an expert in endoscopic procedures such as third space endoscopy, Spyglass Cholangioscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultra​ Sound (EUS), Enteroscopy and Speedboat Submucosal Dissection (SSD). His special interest is third space endoscopy and he is a recognised​ international expert in this field. Early diagnosis of GI cancer and its endoscopic treatment is his passion, and he is invited as expert faculty for live endoscopy workshops worldwide. He conducts workshops at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology where many doctors have trained under him.

He also has a passion for teaching postgraduates and research, and has numerous publications in national and international journals. He has authored many chapters in gastroenterology textbooks, is on the editorial board of video GIE, and a peer reviewer in many GI endoscopy journals. He is active in GI endoscopy societies and presently is governing council member of the Society of GI Endoscopy of India and a member of the American Society of GI Endoscopy.

Dr. Zaheer Nabi has 11 years' experience in the field of Gastroenterology and is the Director of Interventional Endoscopy at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad. He is alumni of the prestigious Asian Institute of Gastroenterology and has been trained in the field of therapeutic endoscopy in India and abroad. He was the recipient of the prestigious “Endoscopic Training Award” from the American Society of GI Endoscopy (ASGE) in 2019, and has undergone advanced therapeutic endoscopy training from centres such as Westmead Hospital in Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Nabi regularly performs advanced procedures such as third space endoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic ultra Sound (EUS), endoscopic resections like endoscopic mucosal resection, endoscopic submucosal dissection and device assisted full thickness resection. His special interest is third space endoscopy and tissue resections including EMR and ESD.

He is regularly invited as expert faculty for live endoscopy workshops around the world, and conducts workshops at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, where he trains many doctors. He has a passion for teaching post graduates and in research he has a wide variety of publications in national and international journals, as well as authoring many chapters in gastroenterology textbooks. He is active in GI endoscopy societies and presently is member of the American Society, Indian Society and European Society of GI endoscopy.

Ecuador

Dr. Carlos Robles-Medranda is an Ecuadorian gastroenterologist and endoscopist, a member of the ASGE, AGA, ACG, ESGE, and other renowned international societies. 

Dr Robles is Head of the Endoscopy Service of the Ecuadorian Institute of Digestive Diseases (IECED), in Guayaquil – Ecuador, as well as director of the Pentax Training Center Ecuador (PTCE), endorsed by the WEO and by the ASGE in Latin America, which has trained more than 100 professionals from all over the world, in advanced endoscopic interventions.

As the author of several internationally recognised scientific studies, Dr Robles received the National Scholar Award at UEG Week 2013 and 2018, obtained the award for the best work presented at the World Congress of Gastroenterology 2017, in the category of functional disorders,  was recognized with the second-best work presented at the World Endoscopy Congress (Endo 2020). He was also recognized with the Best Innovation Technology during ESGE Days 2021.
