From Pamplona, Spain, Dr Albéniz works in the Endoscopy Unit of Gastroenterology Department, Hospital Universitario de Navarra and leads the digestive endoscopy research unit at Navarrabiomed Research Center.

Dr Albéniz coordinated the Spanish EMR-ESD group of the National Society of Digestive Endoscopy from 2013-2022 and has been a member of the Board of the National Society of Digestive Endoscopy from 2022.

Having introduced the techniques of the third space in Spain, Dr Albéniz has multiple research projects on mucosal resection, endoscopic submucosal dissection, POEM and STER. He currently leads an important line of research in gastric cancer that has obtained several state grants.

Prof Coron is a physician in Gastroenterology and Hepatology working at the Digestive Diseases Institute of Nantes. Through international stays and collaborations, he developed an expertise in novel diagnostic and interventional endoscopic techniques, which are applied to the fields of both translational research using animal models and clinical studies performed in humans.

A consultant gastroenterologist and interventional endoscopist with a wealth of expertise, Dr Parra-Blanco leads the popular Upper GI Endoscopy & Training Day and Barrett's Endotherapy Course held annually in Nottingham, UK.

Having worked in hospitals in Spain, Chile and the UK, Dr Parra-Blanco has worked under a variety of healthcare models and contributed to more than 200 clinical publications during his career, covering topics including Barrett's Neoplasia, Gastric Cancer, Eosinophilic Esophagitis and ESD.

Prof Sauid Ishaq is professor of Gantroenterology, interventional endoscopy and consultant physician in Dudley Group of Hospitals.

His main interests include advance endoscopy procedures such as endoscopy imaging techniques (i-Scan, chromoendoscopy) EMR, EPMR, Rectal ESD and enteroscopy and small bowel intervention. He is the first gastroenterologist in UK to introduce endoscopic treatment of Zenker's diverticulum.
