The Endoscopic CO2 Regulation Unit is a gas regulation unit, which is intended for injecting carbon dioxide gas during the gastrointestinal tract during endoscopy or surgery to allow the tract to be shown more clearly. The insufflator can be operated in direct or indirect insufflation mode. Indirect insufflation takes place via the water bottle. The device also works according to the so-called “direct insufflation principle”.
